American Botanical Council responds on herb-drug Interactions article + Antioxidants report

1. American Botanical Council responds to article on herb-drug Interactions in Journal of the American College of Cardiology. 

2. In a message to its members, IADSA Scientific Goup co-ordinator Penny Viner said: ‘You may be aware of a recent report in Science Daily entitled “Antioxidants aren’t always good for you and can impair muscle function”.

Complementary Healthcare Council Raises Concern about Quality Use of Medicines

This Complementary Healthcare Council is concerned new mandatory requirements for unit pricing of complementary medicines may mislead consumers and affect the quality use of medicines. A new Unit Pricing Code will apply to all complementary and over-the-counter medicines that are sold in grocery stores and supermarkets.
