CHC's President
Richard Henfrey - Blackmores, Director Strategic Sourcing
Richard was appointed to the position of President of the CHC Board as of July 2011. He originally joined the CHC Board in 2009 and was made Chair of the newly created Board Trade Committee in early 2011. Richard has over 20 years of experience in strategic and business development roles in highly regulated industries both in Australia, Europe and North America. He has delivered a broad range of growth-driving strategies that optimised performance and created business solutions for numerous organisations.

Sally Brumley - Leura Health Foods, Proprietor
Sally is the Vice President for the CHC Board and has over 20 years experience in the health food retail industry. Sally has established two health food stores in Leura and Queanbeyan and was a Foundation member of the Independent Health Foods of Australia. Sally’s passion and commitment to the complementary healthcare industry, and her business and retail experience are an asset to the CHC Board.
Paul Mannion - Health World Ltd, Technical Director
Paul brings a range of skills and experience to the CHC board. As Technical Director of Health World, he is responsible for research, product development and educational programs for one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading nutritional supplement manufacturers and suppliers. With over 20 years’ experience in th e complementary medicine industry, both as a practicing naturopath, educator and company executive he brings a valuable technical and commercial perspective to the CHC board. Paul leads the CHC Regulatory Policy Committee and is a strong supporter of the potential for science to validate the powerful and important role of natural medicines in the ongoing healthcare mix for our community.
Frank Caruso - Caruso's Natural Health, Managing Director
Frank is a current CHC Board member and has over 30 years experience in the health food industry; firstly as a consumer before opening his first health food store in 1982. In 1983 he joined Go Vita where he sat on the Board as Marketing Director for 15 years and President for 2 years. In 1995 he started Totally Natural Products which over the past 12 years has seen positive business growth, and is now called Caruso's Natural Health.
Wayne Coote - Pathway International, Managing Director
Wayne is a current CHC Board Member with 30 years experience in the healthcare industry in various management positions. Over the last 15 years Wayne has been responsible for running Pathway International, which supplies specialty healthcare ingredients to brand marketers and contract manufacturers for products which are used by customers of the complementary healthcare industry.
Anthony Greig - Amway of Australia, General Counsel
Tony, a member of the CHC Board, is the General Counsel of Amway of Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alticor Inc global distributors (amongst other products) of the Nutrilite brand of vitamin and mineral supplements. Tony is a practising lawyer who has extensive experience in trade practices law and the regulatory environment affecting the manufacture/sale/distribution of complementary healthcare products in Australia.
Dusko Pejnovic - Lipa Pharmaceuticals, CEO
Dusko is a member of the CHC Board and is currently the CEO of Lipa Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Dusko holds a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. He also has experience in a broad range of industries including Pharmaceuticals, Foods, Confectionery, FMCG and B2B services.
Warren Morey - The Pharmaceutical Plant Company, General Manager
Warren is a member of the CHC Board and has worked in the complementary healthcare industry since 1994. Warren is a qualified herbalist and nutritionist, working the first 10 years of his career with Nutrition Care Pharmaceuticals as Technical and Quality Manager. The next 7 years was spent as General Manager of Melrose Health. Warren is currently the General Manager of The Pharmaceutical Plant Company, a speciality manufacturer of herbal extracts for practitioners and a range of herbal complexes for the retail market. Warren’s experience provides insight into complementary medicines, health foods, personal care and the challenges of retailing.
Mark Bisset - Catalent Australia, General Manager Australia/Asia
Mark joined the CHC Board in mid 2011. His experience as a Pharmaceutical executive and successes as a leader in growth environments are an asset to the Board. With extensive sales and marketing and business development experience in the global pharmaceutical and consumer health markets, he has a specific interest and expertise in the Australian and Asian markets. Mark joined Catalent Australia in January 2011 as General Manager Australia/Asia. Prior to this he was Chief Executive Officer for Strides Europe, leading all commercial and manufacturing activities across multiple countries. Mark is a trained Pharmacist and having worked in both retail and hospital environments before entering the Pharmaceutical Industry he brings multiple perspectives to the Board.
John Baker - Go Vita Springwood, Owner/Manager
John has previously served as CHC Vice President and Treasurer and led the Board as President for 2 years. He has also been a member of the Complaints Resolution Council since its inception. During his tenure in various roles he has witnessed and played a part in the strong development of the CHC Codes of Practice and Government Relations elements of the CHC. John has owned Go Vita Springwood for over 22 years and is currently a Director of Go Vita Distributors Ltd and Nutrivital Pty Ltd. John’s clear and continuing aim for the CHC and the Complementary Medicines Industry is for products to become fully integrated and an equal part of the Government’s Health Policy.
Vincent Tan - Pharmacare Laboratories Group, General Manager
Vincent was appointed to the CHC Board in October 2011. With over 30 years experience in the Health and Supplement industry, he has held a variety of Marketing and Sales positions and has led Business Divisions. Vincent is committed to the growth of the Industry and to ensuring consumers have access to safe, effective and economically viable products.
Ian Chant - TSI Pharmaceuticals, Managing Director
Ian is a member of the CHC Board and currently the managing director of TSI Pharmaceuticals.
